With over 34 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, Andrew Osborne has always had a passion for great food and creative entertaining. He started his career at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island studying Culinary Arts. He went on to work in restaurants throughout the country including one of Harrah's Hotel 5 Diamond, 5 Star Restaurants in Lake Tahoe and Martha’s Vineyard. Along the way he learned that customer service is the key that opens all the locks in the event business. After playing Chef at Fannie Mae followed by the National Academy of Science, General Manager of a Private Ladies Social Club for 5 years, and 10 years at 2 different leading Destination Management companies (DMC) as Director of Sales, Andrew started Osborne Events in 2009, a Boutique DMC. Under that umbrella, he managed the Event Center at House of Sweden in Washington, DC for 10 years. He has grown that venue business from 20 to over 250 events per year. Over the past 7 years, Andrew has formed a wonderful working relationship with Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Virginia assisting many of their top clients with all of their event needs. As his passion extends to wine and food, Andrew has created some wonderful wine tours & retreats to fill a niche for boutique wine experiences in the region. Andrew prides himself on providing direct, personal customer service and believes this is what sets his event management company apart from the rest.
